Raj Bhavan Kohima bids farewell to outgoing ADC

Kohima, March 9 (MExN): The Raj Bhavan Kohima bid farewell to ADC to Governor Ado Yanlem during a programme at Dr Imkongliba Ao Hall on March 8.

According to a press release from the Governor’s PRO, Yanlem served the office of the Governor for 2 years and 2 months.

Governor RN Ravi while felicitating the outgoing officer said that Yanlem has earned the love and affection of the entire Raj Bhavan family, and has become a member of his own personal family. Ravi lauded the ADC’s professional and human qualities stating that ‘once a work is entrusted to Ado, no reminders were needed since he would always execute it perfectly.’

The Governor reminded the official that a person in uniform is a role model and an inspiration, especially for the youth, and urged him to be a role model, who carries out the responsibility with humility and a sense of service.

In his speech, Yanlem expressed gratitude to the Governor, his wife and family as well as the staff of Raj Bhavan for providing an environment where he could grow as a police officer and as human being. He said serving two different dynamic Governors has been a challenging and learning experience which he would cherish his whole life. He expressed appreciation and gratitude to all the staff for making his stay at Raj Bhavan a memorable one, the release stated.

The release stated that Commisioner & Secretary to Governor MhabemoYanthan proposed the keynote address and vote of thanks while Dy SP Special Branch Philip Yanthan delivered a speech on behalf of the security personnel.
