Dimapur, October 26 (MExN): The All Nagaland Field Staff Association (ANFSA), PHED Dimapur Unit today urged the appropriate authority matter of regularising the service of the eligible employees as laid down by the Government of Nagaland’s Office Memorandum (OM) dated March 17, 2015.
The OM issued the Personnel and Administrative Reforms Department (Administrative Reforms Branch) stated: “All existing work-charged and casual employees of various Departments who are enjoying scale pay and who have completed 30 (thirty) years or more continuous service as on 01. 01. 2015 will be regularized by conversion of their post into regular ones personal to them and subject to fulfillment of conditions.”
However, the Association alleged that the Nagaland’s Public Health Engineering Department (PHED) has been delaying to enforce the above OM citing various reasons from time to time.
For the past two years the department has been withholding the matter on the pretext of COVID-19 but as the pandemic is now over it is prayed that the appropriate authority might look into the matter as per the OM at earliest, stated a press release from the ANFSA PHED Dimapur Unit President, Kari Temjen and Secretary, Visuto Tepa.
It further cautioned that Association will have no other option but to “seek legal remedy (ies) under the relevant sections of law” if the demand is not fulfilled.
