Rengma Hoho for early settlement of Indo-Naga issue

Kohima, October 7 (MExN): The Rengma Hoho on Wednesday informed of the resolutions taken in its executive body meeting held on October 6 in Kohima.

In a press release appended by its president Pollem Tep, and General Secretary Sinhilo Thongseb, the Rengma Hoho informed that, after thorough deliberation on the Naga political issue, it has resolved to support the demand of the 14 Naga Tribal Hohos for early settlement of the protracted Naga political issue.

Further, it stated that the Rengma Hoho stands for an inclusive solution for all Nagas without discrimination.
It appealed to the Government of India to respect and honour the Naga Flag and 'Yehzabo' (The Constitution) in line with its stated recognition of the unique history of the Nagas.

The Hoho also appealed to all the Naga National workers to shun their differences and put forward their United and concerted effort for the common interest of the Nagas.
