Tseminyu, November 16 (MExN): Rengma Mothers' Association (RMA) conducted a prayer rally in solidarity with the people's aspiration for creation of Tseminyu District on November 16 starting from RSA Ground at Tseminyu Old Town to ADC office, Tseminyu, before culminating at Town Hall Tseminyu.
A press release from the Media Cell, RMA stated that the rally started with a mass prayer at the flag off point and proceeded towards the Town Hall Tseminyu where a short program was held. Sojule Tep, President RMA, delivered the presidential address and solidarity messages were extended from various Rengma apex organizations by representatives of the Rengma Hoho, Rengma Students' Union, Rengma Selo Zi, Rengma GB Association and RVCCF.
During the rally, mass prayers were conducted at multiple locations. The rally was participated by womenfolk from various Naga tribes, representatives from several organizations, concerned members and citizens of Tseminyu sub-division covering a stretch of 5 Kms approximately.
