Research scholar Limasenla Longkumer from Nagaland University won 1st runner-up at RAFAS International Conference held at Punjab.

LUMAMI, APRIL 21 (MExN): Research scholar Limasenla Longkumer from the Department of Chemistry at Nagaland University was awarded the 1st runner-up for her oral presentation at the international conference RAFAS organized by Lovely Professional University, Phagwara, Punjab. The conference was held from April 19 -20.

Professor Ambrish Singh, Limasenla's supervisor at the Department of Chemistry, expressed his pride in her achievement, noting that she competed against students from five different countries to secure this honor. Five research scholars from Nagaland University's Department of Chemistry participated in the conference, engaging with eminent professors, scientists, and industrialists from various parts of the world, a press release informed. 

"The exposure to such distinguished figures will undoubtedly inspire our scholars to refine their skills on an international stage," remarked Professor Singh.

Vice Chancellor Professor Jagadish Kumar Patnaik, Registrar Dr Abemo, along with faculty members, officials, and students, extended their congratulations to all the participants for their commendable performance at the conference. This success reflects the dedication and caliber of the academic community at Nagaland University, the press release added.
