Phek, March 11 (MExN): The Deputy Commissioner of Phek, Razouvolie Dozo on Thursday issued a restraining order to villagers of Khuza village and Mutsale village following “a serious breach of peace and tranquility between the villagers in connection with the land/water dispute case.” The DC Phek said “it is imperative that such breach of peace and tranquility should not occur under any circumstances” and therefore, “restraining order is issued to both the villagers of Khuza village and Mutsale village not to undertake any activities within the disputed urea till further order.” Further, the two villagers are directed to maintain peace and status quo. “Defaulters shall be liable for stern punitive action over and above penalty of withholding of VDB funds,” the DC Phek stated.
