All movement will be restricted from 3-3:30 pm and 4:30-5 pm to facilitate the use of explosives, informs Dimapur DC

 

DIMAPUR, AUGUST 23 (MExN): Deputy Commissioner, Dimapur has extended the total restriction of all movement from Chathe River Bridge (Patkai Bridge) to New Chümoukedima (Pakala Pahar Bridge) from 10:30 pm to 5 am (the next day) with effect from August 25 to September 24.

 

Informing this in a circular, the DC also informed that in addition all movement will be restricted from 3-3:30 pm and 4:30-5pm to facilitate the use of explosives.

 

The DC said the restrictions have been imposed as preventive measure to avoid loss of life, property and other injuries.

 

Alternative route from Dimapur-Kohima/Kohima-Dimapur for light vehicles only is available via 7th mile-new DC office-Shokhuvi-Razaphe-Mhaikam-Pimla-Mhainamtsai-Jhornapani/Medziphema and vice versa.
