Tuensang, February 28 (MExN): The Confederation of Chang Students’ Union (CCSU) on February 28 asserted that it will not entertain proxy teachers under its purview under any circumstances.
In this regard, the Confederation has asked all teachers to return to the respective place of posting on or before March 5.
The admission for nursery to class 7 must be free of cost as per the RTE Act 2006 for Schools established under the purview of the CCSU, it also stated. Moreover, admission must be done within 10 days from the date of issue of government notification, it added.
The CCSU also said that it would initiate stern action against schools delaying resumption of classes for the academic session as per the governments’ notifications.
Further, the Confederation has strictly prohibited any form of taxation on employees/contractual works etc on any educational institutions within the jurisdiction of the CCSU.
It also notified all the government employees of all departments under the purview of the CCSU to be in station. If found neglecting their duties, the Confederation will take necessary actions against defaulters, the CCSU cautioned.
