Revised vehicle fares from Bhandari to Dimapur and Wokha

Bhandari, September 10 (MExN): The vehicle fares from Bhandari to Dimapur and Bhandari to Wokha has been revised as per the latest Standard Operating Procedure issued by the state government dated Kohima August 31. 

Additional Deputy Commissioner, Bhandari, Tiameren Chang has stated that the rates have been fixed as following: 
•    Bhandari to Wokha Tata sumo: Rs 500 per passenger 
•    Bhandari to Dimapur Wingers: Rs 500 per passenger
•    Bhandari to Dimapur Bus: Rs 500 per passenger

The order also stated that in Wingers there should not be more than two persons sitting on the middle, rear row seats and in the front seat including the driver two persons. 

In buses, the passengers should not sit on alternate seats and there should always be vacant seats two adjacent passenger sitting, only 50/- of the passengers is allowed and no standing passengers will be allowed. 

It is also stated that all the passengers, both drivers and attended should mandatorily to wear masks and to used hand sanitizer. Passengers with masks only will be allowed to travel/board. The passengers should be mandatorily cleaned and disinfected before the journey. Defaulters will be penalized as per provisions laid by the state government with immediate effect. 

During the meeting on August 8 for successful monitoring and safety measures, an enforcement team has been constituted with the following: Dr Riku Khutso, EAC Bhandari – Convener and members including Sukumo Kikon, SDPO Bhandari; Thungbemo, Dobashi Bhandari; Lichumo, Dobashi Bhandari ; Wopansao,  GB Bhandari; Hainan Ngullie, Eloe Hoho Bhandari; and Mhonlumo Tsopoe, BTSU Bhandari.
