RIIMS and NEIGRIHMS empanelled under Nagaland’s CM Health Insurance Scheme

Kohima, June 25 (MExN): The Nagaland Health Protection Society has announced the empanelment of two new hospitals under the Chief Minister Health Insurance Scheme (CMHIS). The Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) in Imphal, Manipur, and the North East Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health & Medical Sciences (NEIGRIHMS) in Shillong, Meghalaya, are now part of the scheme, allowing beneficiaries to access cashless treatment at these renowned institutions.

"We are pleased to announce that RIMS and NEIGRIHMS have been empanelled under the CMHIS," said Thavaseelan K, IAS, CEO of the Nagaland Health Protection Society. "This empanelment will provide our beneficiaries with access to advanced medical treatments and a wide range of specialties at these premier institutions."

RIMS, Imphal, is well-known for its comprehensive medical services and advanced treatment facilities. "The hospital offers specialties such as Ophthalmology, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), General Surgery, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Treatment Procedures for Skin Conditions, and Head & Neck Cancer Treatment, among others," Thavaseelan highlighted.

Similarly, NEIGRIHMS in Shillong is recognized for its specialized healthcare services and state-of-the-art medical technology. "NEIGRIHMS provides a variety of specialties including Consultations and Procedures, Laboratory Medicine, Burns Management, Urology, Paediatric Surgery, and Cardio-thoracic & Vascular Surgery," he added.
