Wokha, August 4 (MExN): Under EE (R&B) Baghty division road clearance for major landslides has been going on for the past one week. Works have been carried out at different slides and blocked locations and are now stated to be clear and motorable.
JCBs were deployed and pressed to work along with departmental staff to expedite clearance. Doyang- Okotso road clearance from 2nd August 2018 was supervised by Er. Zanao, JE.
On August 3 during clearance work at Sanis-Moilan road departmental staff was assisted by Village Council members from the adjoining villages. Work is still going on at Sanis-Moilan road under the personal supervision of Er. M. Simon Humtsoe, SDO PWD & R&B, Sanis Sub division.
EE R&B, Er. MhathungKikon stated that work for the purpose of road clearance at Sanis- Lakhuti-Akuk-Mekukla has also started from August 4.
