Phek, February 4 (MExN): The Charity Welfare Society (CWS), Khezhakeno, Phek, is conducting a Road Safety Advocacy programme from February 4 onwards as per the guidelines of the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) at the highway of Phek road via Zuketsa-Pfutsero.
CWS Chairman E K Koza informed that the distribution of pamphlets began with Pfoza Koza, Vice pastor KCRC (Upper) offering the invocatory prayer.
Altogether road safety pamphlets were distributed to 157 vehicles on the first day.
The CWS Chairman lauded the MoRTH for selecting the society to conduct the program and also extended special thanks to ADC Pfutsero for giving the permission, DTO Phek staff for their presence to monitor the program and SDPO Pfutsero for deputing traffic personnel.
Koza further highlighted that the next phase of distributing pamphlets will be held at NEC Pfutsero-Tadubi road while essay writing and painting competition and other activities will be completed before March 5.
