Rotary Club Kohima donates sanitary napkin vending machine to GHS New Market

Kohima, October 12 (MExN): The Rotary Club Kohima (RCK) donated a sanitary napkin vending machine to Government High School New Market, Kohima on October 12.

The RCK, Rotary International, Dist-3240 led by its President, Kezhokhoto Savi donated the machine during a brief installation programme conducted at the school premises. 

During the programme, Savi  gave an introduction of the club as an international club with the motto – “Service Above Self.”

The past President Dr Neisatuo Mero shared briefly about the project while the Literacy Chair, Kevino Savino gave a demonstration on operating the machine to deliver sanitary pads and disposing ofh after use, a press release from the RCK informed. 

The headmaster of the school expressed appreciation to the club and assured to utilise the machine which would be of great help to the girl students and their parents, it said.  

The vending machine is first of its kind in the state capital, it added.
