Dimapur, August 25 (MExN): The Red Ribbon Club (RRC) of Patkai Christian College (Autonomous) in collaboration with Blood Bank, Dimapur Civil Hospital, conducted a ‘Blood Donation Camp’ in the college campus on August 23.
PCC (Autonomous) Red Ribbon Club, Nodal Officer, Kahoshe Sumi in a press release said that a short programme preceded the camp. Vichukho Neikha, Chaplain of Patkai, invoked the blessings of God and Dr. T. Lima Imsong, RMO, 13th NAP (IR) spoke on issues relating to the importance and need for Blood Donation. Altogether 40 units of blood were donated by the members of RRC led by the Nodal Officer.
The camp was conducted successfully with the support of Dr. Temsu, Blood Bank Incharge, Dimapur Civil Hospital; Staff Nurse, Technicians and support staffs of from the Blood Bank; Jayanta Dey, President of Dimapur District Voluntary Blood Donors Association; and the Blood Donors.
