DIMAPUR, NOVEMBER 28 (MExN): Raksha Rajya Mantri (RRM), Ajay Bhatt arrived in Dimapur on November 27 for two days visit to review the security situation and the operational preparedness.
The RRM was briefed by senior military leaders on the operational readiness along Northern borders as well as ongoing counter insurgency operations in the North Eastern states in Rangapahar Military Station and Kohima Garrison on November 27.
The RRM also laid wreaths at Rangapahar War Memorial to pay homage to those who made supreme sacrifice in the line of duty and interacted with the troops and commended them for their professionalism and high morale.
On November 28, Bhatt visited the family of Kargil War Hero, Late Capt N Kenguruse, MVC at his home in Kohima. He conveyed his gratitude, and felicitated and reassured the family members of support.
