SAKK resolves to fight ‘illegal transfers of teachers’

Pughoboto, October 20 (MExN): The Sümi Aphuyemi Kiphimi Küqhakulu (SAKK) today stated of its resolution to fight against ‘illegal transfers of teachers.’ 

The SAKK during its consultative meeting held with the unit presidents from 24 villages of Sümi Aphuyemi discussed the ‘transfer with post’ of teachers within their jurisdiction “which is frequently happening.”

During the meeting held at Pughoboto on October 16, the SAKK passed the resolution to “collectively fight against those illegal transfers of teachers.” 

“The village authorities have been directed not to issue NOC certificate, failing which, they would be held responsible for any problem that may arise in the future,” informed a press release issued by SAKK, President, Itova Shohe.

“We have also directed the Department to cancel the transfer and redeployment orders and abstain from doing so in the near future,” it stated. 

Further, it added that with regard to this issue, “a statement has been made that the department shall be held solely responsible for any problem that may arise in the near future, regarding the ‘transfer with post’ of teacher’s cases.”
