SAMETI holds online training for field functionaries

Medziphema, November 11 (MExN): State Agricultural Management and Extension Training Institute (SAMETI), Medziphema organised online training programme for Agri and allied, and ATMA field functionaries on ‘Package of practices for spices and plantation crops’ on November 9 and 10.

Resource persons for the training were AK Singh, Horticulture Specialist Central Institute of Horticulture, Medziphema and Bijaya Barman, Officer Incharge, Regional Coffee Research Station, Diphu, Assam. Topics on scientific technology of production and propagation of coconut; scientific technology of production and propagation of black pepper and package of practices on coffee in NEHR-I were covered. 

On the whole, the training program saw a good turnout of participants from all districts of the state. Feedback was received from all the participant and e-Certificates was forwarded to the participants.
