Sao Chang College to be re-designated as COVID Care Centre

Tuensang, June 29 (MExN): The Sao Chang College quarantine center will be re-designated to a dedicated COVID Care Centre wherein asymptomatic COVID-19 positive cases will be admitted and managed. 


Sao Chang College will cease to function as a quarantine centre. 


This was decided by the Tuensang District Task Force for COVID-19 during a meeting held at DC Conference Hall, Tuensang under the chairmanship of DC and Chairman DTF Tuensang, Kumar Ramnikant, IAS, informed a DIPR report. 


Also the Government Industrial Training Centre has been designated to quarantine male returnees who are not tested for COVID-19 while female returnees who are not tested will be quarantined at St John Hr Sec School. 


The house also discussed on the shortage of ambulances at PHC Longpang. As the PHC is looking after the general OPD of the district there is an urgent need for an ambulance. The House agreed to appraise the Government on the matter.
