Dimapur, October 19 (MExN): Sastami Union, VK Town and Sastami Union, Dimapur jointly appealed the high authority of GRPN/NSCN for safe release of Aron Kits, a member of NSCN (K) who was apprehended by GRPN/NSCN at Kohima on October 15th 2011. T. Vihoto Labo, Chairman, Sastami Union, VK Town, V. Joseph Achumi General Secretary, Sastami Union, VK Town, Joshua Wotsa, Vice-Chairman, Sastami Union, Dimapur and Kuhoi Sumi, General Secretary, Sastami Union, Dimapur, stated in a joint press release that the two unions had requested the GPRN/NSCN to keep in view the desire of Naga people to foster reconciliation of all the groups and to bring about lasting peace in the land. The two unions fervently urged the competent leadership of the GPRN/NSCN to show maturity on humanitarian grounds and to arrive to an amicable solution even if there is any wrong doing on the part of Aron Kits.
