Kohima, August 4 (MExN): MLA Chotisuh Sazo undertook a spot verification of the roads leading to Phek district on August 32 last. Landslides caused road blockage in many locations of the district.
The MLA found that Chakhabama-Pfutsero road via Kikruma will take 2-3 weeks for new cutting.
BRO are on the job for new cutting in the landslide zone on Chakhabama Pfutsero Road at Sidzu near Thenucho’s farm.
Kohima-Kidima- Zuketsa- Pfutsero road is cleared for light vehicles now. Kohima to Chozuba road via Kijumetouma will take 3/4 days to clear. Pfutsero-Chetheba-Chozuba is cleared as on August 2.
