SBI Foundation–AIDA distributes mushroom spawn

Dimapur, December 8 (MExN): The SBI Gram Seva Programme implemented by ANMA Integrated Development Association (AIDA), Dimapur distributed mushroom spawn to the five adopted villages of Khriezephe, Tsithrongse, Diezephe, Urra and Badeas mushroom cultivation can help reduce vulnerability to poverty and directly strengthens the economic livelihood through the generation of a fast yielding and nutritious value contains.

The SBIF through AIDA addresses the emerging trends of self-reliance by assisting the rural youths and women folks to start up small-scale growing of mushroom substrate under resilient agriculture prepared from straw or any clean agricultural waste materialsas a source of subsidiary family income. It contributes to the local economy and generates more additional employment for the rural people paving opportunities for processing enterprises in future.
