I regret to spell-out these words of negligence meted out to me and the general public of the area by the staff of Jalukie (PHC). Unfortunately on 7th Nov. 2005 at 5 pm I came to PHC Jalukie to dress my wounds on my finger, but to my dismay there was none of the staff on duty. As I went back to arrange other alternative, luckily I met one nurse on my way who was assigned for duty at that very evening. Jokingly she passed me a words in Nagamese (azi tu strike ase to?) but I confirmed her statement and she assured that she was only joking. No doubt she dressed my wounds but I was given injection by used syringe which is very dangerous (unsaved) for any patient.
Therefore, I want the concern authority and general public to take this issue seriously and fight for the welfare of general public.
First of all the staff assigned for duty regardless whether there is patient or not should be in station and not anywhere they like. Proper equipments like (syringe, spirit, first aid materials) should be kept prepared for every emergency case that may arise. I want the concern authority to take this note seriously to keep the good image of PHC Jalukie in future.
