KOHIMA, DECEMBER 17 (MExN): The School Education Department of Nagaland has informed all concerned that the 8th edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha (PPC 2025), the unique interactive program where Prime Minister Narendra Modi engages with students, teachers, and parents, is scheduled to be held in a town-hall format at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi in January 2025.
In a bid to select participants for this prestigious event, an Online Multiple-Choice Question (MCQ) Competition will be conducted from December 14, 2024, to January 14, 2025. This competition is open to children studying in Classes 6 to 12, teachers, and parents. The competition is hosted on the website https://innovateindia1.mygov.in/, where participants can submit their responses.
The MCQ competition serves as a platform for participants to frame questions they wish to ask the Prime Minister. Selected questions, which will be shortlisted by the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT), may be featured in the upcoming Pariksha Pe Charcha event. Furthermore, participants whose questions are selected in previous editions have been invited to appear on various media channels. This year’s chosen participants may also have the opportunity to interact with the media.
In light of this, the School Education Department has directed all Heads of Schools—whether under NBSE, CBSE, ICSE, or private institutions across Nagaland—to promote this significant initiative and encourage active participation from students, teachers, and parents. By participating, they can potentially gain a chance to be selected for the Pariksha Pe Charcha 2025 event and engage with the Prime Minister. All participants in the competition will receive a certificate of participation.
