The monitoring team with the health officials in District Hospital Peren.

Peren, September 24 (MExN): The State Development Coordination Committee (SDC&MC), Government of India-DISHA, member Hayithung Bill Lotha was on a two day visit to Peren district from September 21 and 22 for monitoring and evaluation, vigilance and on spot inspection of the various programmes under National Health Mission (NHM).
The Member was satisfied with the overall performance prevailing in Peren and the implementation of the National Flagship Programme NHM, stated a press release received here.
He appreciated the involvement of ASHA workers which is improving a lot. For last two years Malaria free could be achieve in the Vector Borne Unit manned by Dr Hedungkiebe, DVBO. The team also shared the visit to Jalukie CHC led by Dr Rachel, MO was on a very positive note and everything was in orderly format.
The Medical Superintendent and Dy CMO were highly appreciated for handling the district quite well and generally all the programme officers are doing their level best. The DPMU Peren was praised for playing a very indispensable role and a pillar in the success of NHM in Peren.
The team while interacting with the health officials appreciated their dedication in implementing the various health activities for uplifting the health status of the people of Peren district. Moreover he commented that all the Health Centres which he had visited under Peren District was manage, maintain and functioning to its potential.
The member along with the health officials inspected various facilities including District Hospital, TB centre, DVBO Office, Jalukie CHC and Samzuiram HWC.
