Wokha, March 11 (MExN): Wokha District Administration in collaboration with the Emporium Skills Training Institute, Dimapur organized one-day seminar on job placement and oversees job vacancies at Tiyi Hall, Wokha on March 11. Anirban Mukherjee, Operations Manager, India and International-Emporium was the resource person.
According to a DIPR report, Mukherjee highlighted that the institute was awarded as the best vocational training institute by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship for aviation and hospitality placements. It has also “placed more than 7000 Naga youths and over 35000 students globally.”
They tie-up with over 500+ world class organizations in the field of aviation, hospitality, cruises and other allied sectors and assures 100% placement, he said.
Speaking on job role - salaries and benefits, he said that in hospitality (FandB Service), Mukherjee stated that three months duration is offered in Dimapur (non-residential) and minimum starting salary after successful completion of course and certification with Rs 13000-Rs 15000 plus free accommodation, on duty meals and all other statutory benefits like PF, Gratuity, ESI etc.
In aviation (cabin crew) and cruises, three months coursed in offered in Dimapur (non-residential). Minimum starting salary after successful completion of course and certification is Rs 35000-Rs 50,000 and all other statutory benefits like PF, Gratuity, ESI etc. placements in all five star luxury hotels, international/domestic airlines and cruises, he informed.
EAC (Hq), Wokha, Imtinungula Longkumer delivered welcome address. More than 200 students from different schools and colleges attended the training.
