Mon, October 20 (MExN): Wangkhao Government College IQAC held a two-day sensitization program on NAAC Assessment on October 16 and 17.
According to a DIPR release, resource person, Dr Manoj Prabhakar, Assistant Professor, SETAM, Nagaland University, Kohima highlighted the importance of NAAC assessment and accreditation that has become mandatory for every college in India.
He also stressed on different criteria and strategies for fulfilling NAAC requirements.
Dr M Libanthung Ngullie, Principal, also highlighted the achievements of the College and the strategies currently being initiated to prepare for the ensuing NAAC assessment.
Thavaseelan K, DC, Mon, also elaborated on need for the development of the College both physical and academic, by liaising with other agencies.
Bhavani, IAS, SDO (Civil), Dimapur, also visited the College along with the DC, Mon, and encouraged the College community.
The first day program was held at DC's Conference hall, Mon, and was chaired by DC, Mon, Thavaseelan K who is also the Chairman of the College Advisory Board. The second day program was held at the College Principal's chamber.
