Dimapur, September 16 (MExN): The signing of the September Joint Accordant between the NSCN (IM) and the Working Committee, NNPGs through the effort of Forum for Naga Reconciliation (FNR) is the defining moment of the year 2022 for the Naga people, The Naga Rising stated on Friday.

Applauding the humility and courage exhibited by leaders of the NSCN (IM) and WC, NNPGs to come out in public to admit that they have ‘differences’, yet displaying the foresight to engage in dialogue and committing to move forward in nation building, the TNR stated.

The resolve of the Naga political groups (NPGs) to honour the Covenant of Reconciliation of June 13, 2009 signed by Late Isak Chishi Swu, Late SS Khaplang and Brig (Retd) S Singnya, has instilled new hope in the midst of the present confusion and divide, it added.
