
Kohima, June 1 (MExN): The Nagaland State Transport (NST) has added seven new routes to its bus services. Informing this in a press release, T W Yanlem, PS to Parliamentary Secretary P Dako Phom, added that the services, approved by the Parliamentary Secretary, will now cover almost all the districts of Nagaland. It was also informed that Phom has vowed to “try to reform the present NST system” and provide NST bus service to all the important places.
Meanwhile, inaugurating the NST bus service between Meluri to Phokhungri on May 26, 2009, P Dako Phom, Parliamentary Secretary for transport & communication, mechanical engineering, Nagaland, requested the public to cooperate with the department and to help the staffers posted there.
The bus service routes are:
1. Meluri to Phokhungri
2. Longleng to Kohima via Mokokchung
3. Kohima to Poilwa
4. Kohima to Khomi
5. Dimapur to Aqhunato
6. Kiphire to Seyochung via Sitimi
7. Tuensang to Sangpur and Yakar village.
