SHAMATOR, APRIL 16 (MExN): The Shamator district DPDB meeting was conducted near Shiponger River, Shamator on April 15.
Advisor for Youth Resources & Sports & Chairman DPDB, Keoshu, while addressing the gathering, said that to develop a new district all heads of offices and departments need to give more effort and cooperation, and through collective effort, the district can be developed. He also urged the members to address respective departments' grievances for the smooth functioning of the department, where he assured to help in every possible way.
Earlier, Shamator Deputy Commissioner & Vice Chairman DPDB, Thuvisie Phoji congratulated the Advisor for being re-elected to the 14 Nagaland Legislative Assembly and welcomed the members. The DC said that under his leadership the new district would develop and assured that all departments would cooperate to develop the new district. He urged the members to discharge their duties sincerely. He also thanked all the members and said that it was through teamwork and cooperation that the election was successfully conducted.
The house deliberated and approved the following agendas and forwarded them to higher authority for necessary action: Construction of town hall, Shamator town; construction of Children's park at Shamator; creation of Kendra Vidyalaya School, Shamator; creation of District Youth Resources and Sports Office Shamator; creation of Urban Health Centre, Shamator; creation of District Hospital, Shamator and creation of a sub-Centre at Chessore Village.
