Dimapur, December 14 (MExN): Advisor for IPR and VG Keoshu Yimkhiung on Tuesday inaugurated Thiyang Village which was established from the parent village Y Anner under Chessore Sub-division of Shamator district.
According to a report from the state DIPR, the Advisor unveiled the village recognition monolith and congratulated the Thiyang villagers for getting the village recognized He also urged the public to be more united, understanding, and cooperative, and work to become the ‘best village.’
On the occasion, guest of honor Vikram Singh DIG, 7 sector AR also unveiled the Public Ground monolith.
The programme was chaired by Rev Thrunkiumong, Mission Secretary YBBA and various speakers including the Head GB of Y Anner village K Yimtokiu, Head GB of Sotokur village Yankiuba, YTC Vice President H Hanji, Shamator Deputy Commissioner Thsuvisie Phoji and others also addressed the gathering, the DIPR informed.
