Shofar Music Academy, a music conservatory that aims to allow students to experience quality music education through innovative ways of learning was inaugurated in Dimapur on September 28. The academy was inaugurated by Director South East Asia, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Jerusalem, Israel Yaron Mayer. Located at Court junction in Dimapur, the Academy offers courses in Piano, Voice, Music theory, Violin, Guitar and Choral Conducting. Shofar Music Academy is the vision of the Academy proprietor Abigail Odyuo who has worked as a music tutor, and her musical journey motivated her to start her own school.
