Kohima, August 22 (MExN): The Chakhroma Women Organization is organizing a silent procession in Dimapur on August 26 to appeal to the district administrative authority for awarding exemplary punishment and not to give bail to the arrested criminal involved in the horrible inhuman acts of rape and murder of late Miss Avinuo of Kirha village on July 21. The meeting point will be Dhobinala junction, Dimapur from 8.00 A.M onwards. The procession will start at Dhobinala Junction Dimapur and proceed to the Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Dimapur to submit a memorandum, a release received here said today. All concerned organizations and individuals have been requested to reach the venue in time and join in the procession to show solidarity for justice Members from outstation have been requested to make their own arrangement for refreshment, etc .
