Single Window System to bring information on line

Kohima, November 17 (MExN): Workshop on Single Window System, organised by Invest India & Department of Industries & Commerce, was held at conference hall, Directorate of Industries & Commerce on November 17.

Director Industries & Commerce, K Hokishe Assumi, said that Nagaland needs to grow with the rest of India, and mentioned that unless the State grow, India will not grow. Single Window System will be a boon for state like Nagaland, where there are many services which are not digitalized and investors should not face problem and consume time for all the clearance required, a DIPR report stated. 

Chief Technology Officer, Invest India, Aditya Sharma said that Single Window System is a framework to bring all the information on line and added that fourteen states have some single window system so far. He informed that Nagaland will be the 15th state to have online information under the initiative of the Invest India. He added that on February 2020, the Finance Ministry, Government of India, has finalized to have online platform which will help to facilitate all approval of Centre and state under the single window system.
