Dimapur, March 20 (MExN): The Department of Sociology, St Joseph University conducted an online special lecture on the topic ‘Application of statistical tools in sociological research’ on March 18.
According to updates from the university’s PRO, the resource person for the webinar was Dr V Arulmurugan, and Assistant Professor and Research Supervisor at Puducherry University, Karaikal Campus. He explained scientific research and different types of statistical tools aids in the research process and also presented a case study on the teacher-student relationship. Dr Arulmurugan gave a very clear and step-by-step explanation of various tools used to analyze the collected data, it added.
The session concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr Besü, HoD. The webinar was attended by more than 200 participants and was streamed in both Google meet as well as YouTube Live, the updates stated.
