Wokha, August 4 (MExN): Skill development training on beekeeping was held at Mass Educational Welfare Society Hall, Wokha from July 30 to August 4 in Wokha. The programme was assisted by NABARD RO Dimapur and implemented in association with Mass Educational Welfare Society, Wokha.
Earlier, the programme was inaugurated by Lipok Ozukum, BM Central Bank of India on July 30 as the chief guest. Intensive training was held with 35 candidates from different villages. The participants also visited K Sansow Kikon Apiary at Longsa Village on August 3.
The valediction function was held on August 4 at MEWS Hall, with Dr Morothung Ezung, VAS Vety Hospital Wokha as the chief guest. Dr Morothung encouraged the trainees to be dedicated and sincere while executing any enterprises. He also enlightened them on the beneficial values and importance of honey. The role of bank in the social economic development of rural people was shared by Lipok Ozukum, BM CBI Wokha.
The programme was chaired by Lanchibemo Tsopoe, Chairman MEWS and vote of thanks was pronounced by K Mhonchumo Lotha, trainee.
