Dimapur, September 29 (MExN): The Sumi Kiphimi Kuqhakulu (SKK) on Wednesday welcomed the Directorate of School Education (DoSE) recent notice against the practice of proxy teaching in schools and urged all the government teachers to participate in their duties with sincerity. In a press release, SKK President, Katho P Awomi and Education and Statistical Secretary, Ngukato L Aye called on to all its units and sub-units to collaborate with the order and check such unwelcome practices in their own areas. It also acknowledged the department and the Advisor for School Education K Tokugha Sukhalu for listening to the cry of the Union and other organisations to remove the practice of proxy teaching. At the same time, it appealed to the department for timely release of pending salaries of teachers and provision of maximum facilities to ensure their wellbeing.
