A one-day block level training for SMCs and SMDCs held at Educational Block Resource Centre Training Hall, Tseminyu on March 10.

Tseminyu, March 13 (MExN): A one-day block level training for School Management Committees (SMCs)/ School Management and Development Committees (SMDCs) under the programme of Samagra Shiksha Nagaland was held at Educational Block Resource Centre Training Hall, Tseminyu on March 10.
A press release received here stated that Yahuto Kath, SDEO Tseminyu cum Chairman EBRC impressed the members of SMCs and SMDCs to be “the leaders, comforters and contribute according to one’s own capacities for the welfare of students”. He further stated that working environment at schools should be a joyful place of learning and that the teachers along with the community have to play pro- active role with a sense of responsibility, dedication and commitment to the task.
Kelhikha Kenye, Deputy Mission Director(DMD) State Mission Authority Samagra Shiksha as the resource person imparted the gathering on the topics such as UDISE +, utilisation of composite school grants, library,NIPUN-Bharat Mission, school safety plan, COVID -19 SOPs, sports, RTE entitlements and NEP 2022. Imdangjungla Jamir, coordinator SMA dwelt on the aspects of vocational education.
Altogether 101 members of SMCs, SMDCs and personnel of EBRC Tseminyu attended the training programme. Francis Rengma, TOT chaired the programme. Hinilo TOT delivered the welcome note and Rushulo Khing, Coordinator EBRC Tseminyu pronounced vote of thanks.
