Social work at Dr. Motsuo Memorial District Hospital

WOKHA, SEPTEMBER 9 (MExN): To create a sense of belongingness and ownership of maintaining government property, the Vungoju colony, Council members, Eloe Hoho and youth organization conducted a social work at Dr. Motsuo Memorial District Hospital on September 8.

Keeping in mind that it is the only District Hospital which caters to the health needs of the public in the district, and can become better through community participation, and also providing a sense of security to the staff and patients, the Vungoju colony members extended their co-operation and support in organizing the cleanliness drive towards fostering a cleaner place for healthy living.

Medical Superintendent, Dr Tumchobeni and hospital staff expressed their gratitude to the Vungoju Colony Council, Eloe Hoho and Youth Organization who initiated the social work. She said that community involvement is a vital part of participating in 'Kayakalp', a Government of India initiative to promote cleanliness, hygiene and infection control practices at hospitals.
