Dimapur, October 2 (MExN): The National People's Government of Nagaland (NPGN) of the NNC (NA) led by Mhathung Tsopoe and Kiyelho Wokhami has extended its support to the Framework Agreement which it said, “recognizes the unique history, universal principle and identity of the Nagas.”
A press release from the group’s MIP on Friday stated that decision was taken during a cabinet meeting on September 30.
“The spirit and aspiration of the Nagas plebiscite continues to form the historical basis on which to move forward,” the release stated, while adding that the Indo-Naga political solution without the flag and constitution “is not acceptable at any cost.”
