Zunheboto, May 30 (MExN): A special prayer session for COVID-19 warriors and also for the pandemic to come to an end was held in Zunheboto town with the GBs and chairman of all the colonies on May 30.
It was held following strict COVID SOPs and with prior permission from the district administration, stated a press release issued by Bombo K Yeptho, Media Supervisor, Zunheboto Town Sumi Baptist Church (ZTSBC).
The prayer session was led by Rev Dr Daniel Chishi, Pastor ZTSBC, SBAK-Aizuto. Exhorting the gathering, Rev Chishi encouraged the GBs to come forward to lead the people in all aspects, help out each other and also step forward and cooperate to fight this pandemic.
Later, a prayer was held for the patients, frontline workers, for those lives lost due Coronavirus and for the well being of everyone during the pandemic.
The release also stated that churches in Zunheboto district have been relentlessly working towards helping the District Task Force since last year.
