Guwahati, March 21 (MExN): The Sumi Students’ Union Guwahati (SSUG) held its 29th General Election on March 20 at CBCNEI Conference Hall where Yekato P Assumi and Nitolo Sumi were elected as the union’s president and general secretary for the tenure 2021-22.
The members of election Commission were- Inaka Achumi former SSUG president, Vikhetoli Das and Aliho Swu Brahma, a press release from the union informed.
After the election the SSUG also released its constitution and the SSUG outgoing president Jevi Kinni Hesso lauded its drafting committee members for their works, it said.
The drafting committee comprised Convenor Vikato Shikhu, Finance Secretary CBCNEI; Hutoka Kiba former President of SKKG; Hokikhe Zhimo President NSUG; and Puloto K Kinny General Secretary SKKG.
