Nagaland state Bharatiya Janata Party Mahila Morcha (BJPMM), president Phangnon Konyak today said the state BJP Mahila Morcha is intact and fully endorsed the leadership of state BJP president Temjen Imna Along.
She was reacting to the news item that the state BJMM appealed for replacement of the party president Temjen Imna Along.
Addressing a press conference here today, she said the usage of state BJMM in the news item “is unauthorised,” adding that “this opinion has been expressed in their individual level” and that is not the state BJP Mahila Morcha statement.
Konyak said that there are many karyakarnis who are working for the party in various capacities and that few of them should not take the name of all, as many members are contributing to the party in various capacities.
She informed that the party will take action against those individuals according to the party constitution.
She also clarified that 'one man one post' is in no where mentioned in the party Constitution.
She affirmed that the dual post depend on capacity of a person to take responsibility and stated that the question of ‘One man one post’ does not arise while maintaining that the state BJP Mahila Morcha endorsed the leadership of the state president Temjen Imna Along
