The Nagaland Education Mission Society, Samagra Shiksha today declared the result of the state level online Kala Utsav 2021 competition here at the Directorate of School Education, Kohima.
Kala Utsav is an initiative of the Ministry of Education (MoE) under Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan, to promote arts in education by nurturing and showcasing the artistic talent of school students at the secondary stage in the country.
The students competed in the field of vocal music, traditional & classical, instrumental music traditional & classical, dance in traditional & classical, visual art and indigenous toy.
The winners will represent the state at the National Level Kala Utsav online at the Directorate of School Education studio scheduled for January 1 to 12 next year.
Additional Director School Education, Razouseyi Vese exhorted the gathering and gave away certificate to the winners. Dr Chumbeni Kikon, Joint Mission Director said that Kala Utsav is a national event for celebration of art form in the school system. The function was led by Liyalo Apon, deputy mission director Samagra Shiksha Nagaland.
