In a kind gesture, The Naga Blog today initiated a street show outside Oking Hospital here to raise fund for Kiphire landslide victims.
Naga Blog administrator said that a lot of young people are concerned about the landslides occurring around the State.
“We also thought that in our own small way we should come together and do something,” he said.
He recalled that they were discussing over Facebook to do a street show, inviting everyone to sing together and remember the people of Kiphire.
A donation box was placed in front of the stage for passerby to donate in whatever way for Kiphire landslide victims.
The amount collected from the show will be handed over to the landslide victims, it was informed.
In solidarity, he said, “we want to let the people of Kiphire also know that we are here for you any time you need us.”
“The young people of Kohima are remembering all of you in our prayer and we hope that this will make a small difference,” The Naga Blog administrator said.
