Zunheboto, December 28 (MExN): The Sumi Martyrs’ Day and Sumi solidarity concert was organised by Sumi Hoho at Sumi Martyrs Park, Sukhalu village on December 28.
According to a press note various organisations like Sumi Kukami Hoho, Sumi Kiphimi Kuqhakulu, Sumi Totimi Hoho, Zunheboto Chambers of Commerce & Industries, Zunheboto Area Public Organisation, Zunheboto Gb Association, Satakha GB Association and Sumi Totimi Hoho Zunheboto unit attended the programme.
Sumi Hoho President, Nikheto Jimomi, briefly highlighted about the significance of the day and said that it was now the 7th year of Sumi Martyrs’ Day observation.
Earlier, the programme was chaired by Dr Vihuto Asumi, General Secretary, Sumi Hoho, and prayer was done by Rev Dr Daniel Chishi, Pastor, ZTSBC. The Concert was chaired by Zhevihe Sumi, Vice President, Sumi Hoho and prayer was done by Dr Hutton Sumi, Pastor SBCZ. The concert featured Yeshika Asumi, Abel Tolivi Asumi, Kivika Achumi, Nity Awomi from Satakha ,Vinoka Zhimo from Mokokchung and Mughato H Achumi and Niphuka N Chishi from Zunheboto.
