TaFMA with Latvian Embassy to conduct music workshop

Dimapur, November 6 (MExN): Task Force for Music and Arts (TaFMA) in partnership with Latvian Embassy is organizing four-day intensive workshop on choir conducting and voice for musicians of Nagaland at Mountain Music Academy, Dimapur. 

In connection with this programme, Artis Bertulis the Latvian Ambassador to India, his wife and resource persons viz. Prof Egils Jakobsons, Prof Inita Kamarute and Prof Gints Ceplenieks all from Rigas Doma Kora Skola, Latvia arrived to Dimapur on November 6. During the workshop scheduled from November 8 to 11, different activities such as Master Classes; Techniques; Individual Lessons; Live Performances; Live Choir sessions and many more will be taken up, stated a press release issued by Dr Hovithal Sothu, Project Director, TaFMA. 

The workshop will culminate with the finale concert in RCEMPA, Kohima on November 13. The programme is being coordinated by the Mountain Music Academy, Dimapur.
