Free Tele-Counseling Helpline for students and adults launched
Dimapur, May 28 (MExN): The Center for Wellness in collaboration with the Dimapur District Administration and District Task Force has launched the ‘Talking About It Helps’ initiative, a Free Tele-Counseling Helpline from 9:00 am - 6:00 pm.
Psychologist and founder of Center for Wellness, Lenti Aier says, “Very often we neglect how thoughts are processed leading to many unwanted and underlying problems such as stress, depression, anxiety etc. We give our outmost care and importance only to our physical health leaving aside our emotional and mental well being, not realising that every mankind come with all three package.”
By choosing to neglect one factor can have a negative effect on our daily lives. To function effectively and positively, all areas of our life should be prioritized, she states.
Aier adds that most of what we do, how we act and respond to any situations or circumstances arises from how we think or feel. “And so, we must take the time to nurture our thoughts and our feelings. Just as we take so much importance of visiting doctors when we have any physical ailments, the same approach should be given for our emotional and mental well being.”
“This is where we as psychiatrist, clinical psychologist, psychotherapist, psychologist, counselors, and life coach are here to listen to you. We help you align with thoughts that contribute to your health,” she explains.
Who should call?
If you are a patient, attendant, caretaker, leader, student, working professional, old, young, someone not in these category. “We are here to listen to you. Know your options and take care of yourself!”Aier added.
