It is very much unfortunate for the TASU to remind to the Govt. of Nagaland regarding the transfer of UCO Bank to Sonari (Assam) from Tizit Sub-Division and to the BSNL for the immediate connection of Mobile Phone.
On behalf of Tizit Area as a whole, the Tizit Area Students’ Union ( TASU) release this column to the BSNL demanding immediate connection of Mobile Phones lacking which the people are facing many a hardship as Tizit Area being a commercial zone the communication facilities are very much important and needed.
The release further appeal to the State Finance Department and to the Govt. to take up the issue of reconversion of UCO Bank from Sonari (Assam) to Tizit Sub-Division. It is very much regretful that, Tizit one of the main business centre of Nagaland is lacking of banking facilities and due to which the Naga people have to go all the way down to Assam for banking.
Because of no bank, the people are deprive of many employmental loans, subsidies, developmental facilities etc. etc. and the Area is “increasing in unemployment problems and decreasing in development process”.
Sensing very much the necessity of public the TASU hereby appeal to immediately take-up the aforesaid problems and look into the needs of public.

S. Kano, General Secy, TASU
