Guest of honour Achakbo Newmai Superintendent Engineer, Department of Agriculture was honoured by TCRS during the occasion of their first film release on September 10 at Tening.
Tening, September 12 (MExN): The Tening Cultural Research Society (TCRS) Tening Village released their first album of Cultural activities on September 10 at Tening Village Council Hall with Achakbo Newmai Superintendent Engineer, Department of Agriculture Nagaland as the guest of honour.
Newmai stated that the young generation must grasp the value and need for the cultural preservation and hold firmly on the existing community culture.
The programme was organized to encourage the younger generation to know how to preserve the value of culture and the identity of the people and to keep alive and to improve their environment, the Society stated in its press release on Sunday. The programme was chaired by Vice Chairman Kinkariulung while welcome address was pronounced by Kigabo, Secretary and vote of thanks was delivered by Kaidinlung Chawang, President.
