Tuensang, September 5 (MExN): Tuensang District celebrated Teachers’ Day at GHSS Auditorium, Tuensang with Rev. Achu Chang, ES, CBLT as resource person.
Speaking on the occasion, he congratulated the District Teachers Awardees for their commitment to the students. He added that the teachers are remembered in many ways successful and failures, as friends or mentor and selfish and bias. Teachers should be a visionary to change the perspective of societies and teachers must be updated, teachers must lead the students in such a way that they must become someone in life. He quoted Ivan Welton Fitzwater words "Future of the world is in my classroom today".
During the programme invocation prayer was pronounced by Pastor Tenyimi Baptist Church Tuensang, Sentilo Seb; welcome address was delivered by SDEO Tuensang, Sr. Dominic; Tribute to Teacher by Trinity Academic School; Felicitation of teachers from St. John School Tuensang; Special number was presented by Mt. Carmel School; Speech on behalf of the Awardees by Head Master, Loyem Memorial School, Debashish Deb; Special presentation from Wela Foundation School and Vote of thanks was said by AEO Tuensang, Chubasashi.
